Beginnings
In 1973, members of the Mount Lemmon community joined together to create the club to support community activities, social events, and educational presentations. The initial group worked to unify the community. The club was federated by The General Federation of Woman's Club in 1974.
Today
Our members come from all walks of life with a variety of skills and talents that they contribute to the club and broader community. We have authors, teachers, artists, community organizers, fire prevention experts, musicians, environmentalists, etc. who add to the richness of life on the mountain.
The club sponsors annual activities including:
- The 4th of July Parade
- Cabin Tours
- Membership Luncheon
- Holiday Brunch
- Sew-a-thons
- Speaker Series/Educational programs
- Ice Cream Freeze Off
- Winter Coffee Gathering
